Well this is so wow! The forthcoming (and, indeed, fourth) Harry Potter movie: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire has spoiled the magic of being in a band for a group of Canadians. A band called the Wyrd Sisters perform at the Hogwarts Yule Ball in the movie, featuring stars from genuine bands Pulp and Radiohead - but there's already a band called Wyrd Sisters out there. A Canadian folk group have used the name for fifteen years now and claim they've had to cancel tours and delay an album release because they don't know if they can use it any more, thanks to the Potter movie. Now they're reportedly taking legal action against Warner Bros. They may even try to stop the movie being distributed in Canada! Oh, and if the name Wyrd Sisters really rings a bell with you, it might not be from Harry Potter or the folk group - it's also the name of one of Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels!

lol I have "Wyrd Sisters" (the novel). But that sucks that the movie might not be distributed.... when's it coming out in Canada anyway? Didn't it come out like a month ago?
