I wish you guys would have read Airborn before you start calling it a kid book Airborn is far from kid in my oppinion, people die in it and it's more fantasy than anything it was deffiently written for middle schoolers or so. I wouldn't recomend it to people under 10 unless their mature and can handle bullets to the head and savage animals xD Well for those who don't know about Airborn, it's set 900 years in the past and is very fantasy with airships and pirates. I don't think it would be a bad move for Liam to take the part as Matt, there's no cussing but you deffiently won't see any 7 year olds coming in with their parents, like you do with Harry Potter or something.

yeah, ive read it .. its a really good, and mature, book. But, when producers think "fantasy" they think about a younger audience. I think that theyll switch it around. Not as much violence and everything. I think theyll end up making it a low rent kiddy movie.

yeah, it'll become a movie where any darker themes will be erased... think Harry Potter 2, I mean, it was a crap movie ANYWAY, but all the actors and people involved were like "this one is really dark" etc, and then when ya actually SAW it, it was like... Oh. Right then. Like that guy in Thunderbirds.... he made his debut in 'Thirteen' which had quite dark themes, about depression, drugs, self-harm etc, and then he ruined it by doing Thunderbirds....

ok... i think that the reason that liam is in such a good position in his career is because hes not one of those cheesy kid actors thats always playing the "goofy" role.. you know? like hes always had serious roles such as in stepmom, sweet november, road to perdition etc. etc. get it? .. well the most recent flicks he's done are the cheesy "family movies" such as good boy, and ASOUE (ASOUE isnt really that cheesy though, but still.... it's a family film) And this is starting to remind me alot of frankie muniz. he started out as a GREAT kid actor with his sitcom and "my dog skip" but THEN.. dun dun dun... he started with the agent cody banks movies.. that was a HORRIBLE career move.. youve seen what its done.. now hes portrayed as a cheesy kid actor... not a serious actor with a handle on his career... I think that if Liam went back into serious movies again.. not neccesarilly (sp?) dramas... but more teen movies.. that teens are likely to watch, then his career will blossom even more than it already has... but if he takes these jobs with airborn or the alex rider movies then i think its going to go straight downhill.. and we cant have that... there will be no more liam.. and thats BAD! His acting skills are far too great to spend them on kids movies... I could see him in the film industry for a very long time to come if he went with more teenagerish films. But nobody wants a kid to play in their movies if everyone thinks of them as a certain character... and everyone seeing them as a certain family film character makes it much worse. post your comments! Okies, since when was it a law that family movies are cheesey? x.x Stepmom basically was a family movie. And also, it would kinda be a good thing if his teen fanbase shrunk, because that would mean less fangirl competition.

You dont sit down with your kids to watch a movie like that. 3. If he does ANOTHER movie like that, he basically wont have a career (the truth hurts) so there wont be any fanbase.
