In this site (that you say is soon to be part of this?) it says that Liam's actual name is William but with a question mark. I had been pondering that because Liam is the last half of that name so I think it's true. What are your thoughts on this?

[glow=red,2,300]Some people say it is but others say it isn’t. I think it is because from what I have read, Liam is a shortened form of William, so I think that Liam; not really a nickname, just more what he may be used to being called. [/glow]

It IS part of it! I am sorry that I have not yet gotten around to updating, but I can't help that, the other computer is continuously occupied. I WILL update today, PROMISE!
Anyway, about his name. His father's name wa--....is Bill, and Bill can also be short for William. So, it's possible he is a Jr.

Most likely. But I think Liam has more sophisticosity than Bill.

Yes, I think Liam is a lot more elaborate than Bill. Although I like both names

I didn't know that. Hmm...well you learn something new everyday. So I guess the chances are his name is William. I guess I'll just have to ask him when I go to the premiere....*sigh* I wish.

I always wonder if ppl could be given names like Liam or Bill when they're born, and their parents don't have to name them William or whatever. Like does a kid HAVE to be named Jennifer to be called Jenny, or could their parents just name them Jenny? I 'spose the parents can do whatever, but I don't think they do, usually.

Yea, why couldn't my mom just name me Franny!!?!!
Hey, Ginny Weasley's name is not short for Jennifer (hence the "G").

Ginny is short for something though. It's short for Virginia. At least that's what Ginny Weasley is short for.
I'm such a nerd. How do I know this useless info? Well, it came in handy here!
