It's only long in pages, it goes by really fast when you read it.
Thank Goodness there is going to be a sequel

it is really really good i've read it a few times already and each time it gets better. i can totally see liam as matt although there were times in the book when matt annoyed me... he could be really immature and garg but i'm sure liam will do justice to matt

I got this email: Sent : Thursday, July 21, 2005 6:49 PM To : liamfans@yahoogroups.com Subject : [liamfans] KATE auditions HELLO Liam fans everywhere. I am the webmaster for the Liam Aiken fansite. To set to rest talk about the Kate auditions, and I did recieve A LOAD of emails asking about this....I have been in touch with Brad of Universal Pictures marketing. The role of Kate is open to a girl 14-16 with SAG credits only. While they did comtemplate awhile on going with an unknown, they have decided to go with a SAG member with credentials. They did add that while they do every so often look for new talent, they would prefer the lead (Kate) in the film not be so closly a fan of Liam's. However, FOX is getting ready to do a national casting call for a new film, and as always, I will post it here when Gina contacts me about it. Peace! I have no SAG credits...

Thank God for that!
I really would not have trusted an unknown with the part, and knowing that so many liam-boppers wanted the part i would have been even more suspicious about the unknowns intentions to have the role.
I can now rest easily that they are going with a tried and tested actress.
I love the book and I want nothing but the best for the movie!

Yeah, the movie probably would be better with an experienced actress as Kate.

the thing is you never know.... there could be an uknown out there thats [glow=red,2,300]not a liam fan[/glow] that is perfect for the part... yeah its understandable that they want a known actress to bring in that person's fans but there might be someone out there who could better perform the role
just saying this you don't have to agree with me
ok im done

I disagree with the unknown thing, because every once in a while it's nice to have fresh blood in films. I would rather see a young, girlish face of an unknown who still retains her innocence (which is often spoiled by showbiz) than have someone who I remember from other movies.

^That's a good thought. Of course, they probably want an experienced actress so they can bring in more fans. Then again, I personally would like to see some new unknown actress. I just hate the thought of the part of Kate maybe going to some actress I really hate.
