It's ok, a lot of people don't know good music because they haven't heard it yet. You've probably heard Jack's guitar skills somewhere. :-)
And I in no way consider myself punk. Sure, I listen to a lot of punk, but I'm a geek and I like bluegrass and some emo stuff and a lot of indie bands. But I don't care, I like what I like and that's that.

Hehe! I'm not really a punk, cos I like all sorts of music, not just punk ;D Your mandolin is pretty neat, Mando. My guitar's mega-boring I want a mint green one or a double-necked one. I'm actually aming to get good on guitar and then move onto bass... since I'm so tiny, a bass would swamp me if I got one now! Rofl!

All I can play is the alto saxophone. I'm the biggest frak of all. And first I think "Oh I'm turning rocker" and then I find myself adoring the new Ashanti song. I'm telling you, I'm retarded. But I guess I am too label-obsessed. Whatever. (The years of teasing have taken a major toll on me. Just ignore me, I get into these little "I hate myself" rants from time to time. Bad habit. Ohh reminds me of the Linkin Park song... great now I'm rambling! :

Don't worry... woodwind is cool! I play the flute too... I'm a lot better on my flute than electric guitar, as I've been playing flute for 5 years. I'm on Grade 4 at the moment.

I don't really know what that grade 4 thing means but ok. (I only play sax in music class at school, but also in the school's symphonic band, which actually doens't make you a geek at my school.) I really wanted to learn guitar while ago. I'd still be curious, but I'm in band, choir, and I take jazz and hip hop dance. (Yeah, I'm pretty musical.) So I don't really have time to take guitar, too.

In England you have grades for music. When you're 15-16, you take a 'GCSE' exam in all your subjects at school, and another one called an A level when you're 17-18. They're mega important, and a Grade 5 in an area of music is equal to a GCSE. A Grade 8 (the highest grade) is equal to an A-level.

Oh, cool. I plan on taking band as an elective when I start high school. I'm joining this program in high school (most likely, they say I'm almost definitely going to be accepted) that's like gifted only youdon't get labeled gifted, and I'll probably take that level for my electives, including band. I guess I need to start practicing more, but saxophones are heavy.

Yeah, I've played flute for 5 years. My guitar for 3 and my mando for 2. My guitars are just cheesy Yamaha ones though, a regular plain old acoustic and a regular plain old black and white electric.

I like black and white guitars cos they remind me of my fave band, The Hives (they play black or white guitars).

Yes, I love the Hives, my friend John REALLY loves them. He's awesome at guitar. He got a guitar just like Jack's, the same red color and shape and everything, it's so cool. I can't remember the name of it though... ergh, I believe it has something to do with astro.
